Fees and Payment

Therapy with a specialist is an investment in yourself that will have long-term benefits for you in your personal and professional life. It is also an investment of time and a financial investment. My fee for a 60-minute Intake Session is $250 and the fee for a 50-minute Psychotherapy Session is $225. Payment is due at the time of service. I accept most major credit and debit cards and HSA cards.

I do not accept insurance, but I can provide you with a “superbill” after each payment, which is a receipt that can be submitted to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

Cancellation Policy: The fee for cancelling a session with less than 24 hours’ notice is $50, regardless of the reason for the cancellation.

Getting Started and the Therapy Process

The first step in the process of starting therapy with me is to reach out to me to schedule a 15-minute phone consultation. In this call we’ll discuss the issues you’re seeking help with, and I can answer any questions you may have. If we agree that your needs are a good fit with my expertise, we can schedule an Intake session of 60 minutes during which I’ll ask you about your symptoms, important aspects of your life and work history, and we’ll talk about a treatment plan and approach that would best fit your needs. I schedule weekly sessions with my clients to provide the maximum benefit from therapy. Some of my clients meet with me weekly for the first several months, and then shift to meeting with me every other week.
